Twin Chimneys Historical Site Dedication

Join Franklin County Historical Society and Twin Chimneys Neighborhood Association in recognizing this important site in American History.

 

This event will feature:

Re-enactors & period dress from 1700s and 1800s

Period music by high school students

Refreshments

 

This site was the homestead of Revolutionary War Patriot Gwin Dudley and was recently named to the state and national registers of historic places.

 

Directions to Site:
From VA 122, turn on Burnt Chimney Road, travel 9.2 miles to Twin Chimneys Drive. Signs will mark both turns.
