Turkey Calling Contest
Xtreme Jakes
Held at the Franklin County Gun Club.
"Prizes"
1st place: $100 Gift Certificate to Franklin Outdoors
2nd place: $50 Gift Certificate to Franklin Outdoors
3rd place: $25 Gift Certificate to Franklin Outdoors
Rules:
- Callers must be between the ages of eleven and seventeen years old
- Callers must register by 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2010
- Callers can use any call of their choice (Box, slate, diaphragm, etc.)
- Callers will make three calls:
- Yelp
- Cackle
- Callers Best
Directions:
Route 40 West to West Food Fare, turn left at light onto Scuffling Hill Rd., one mile then turn right on
Rakes Rd., three miles and turn right at the Gun Club sign.

Rock-Wall Climbing
Tie-Dye Shirts
Interaction with members of the local Sheriff and
Police Departments along with members of the
Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
Free membership into the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Free tee-shirt for all youth.
Event will be held rain or shine!
