The Town of Rocky Mount is currently accepting applications for the position of School Liaison/Police Officer.  Law enforcement certification through DCJS required. Position encompasses monitoring referred juveniles in school and community settings; liaison duties between family members, school officials, community agencies and law enforcement entities; and assuming general police duties.  Education equivalent to high school graduate required. Continued education through college, law enforcement academy or military police school preferred. Employment includes excellent fringe benefits and participation in VRS.
