A.  Approval for Thompson and Litton to Prepare Memorandum of Agreement

-  Review and consideration of approving Thompson and Litton, Engineering Services, to prepare a Memorandum of Agreement to conduct the engineering work in accordance with the Town's current Engineering Services Agreement to design the grading, rail siding, storm water management, and erosion control for the entire Cox Industrial site.

A.  Draft "Resolution by the Rocky Mount Town Council Acceptance of Summit Drive"

-  Review and consideration of approval of draft resolution by Rocky Mount Council in order for the Virginia Department of Transportation to accept section of road as defined on Summit Drive to be maintained by the Town and eligible for financial support from the Virginia Department of Transportation under the Urban Maintenance System.

 

B.  Draft "Resolution by the Rocky Mount Town Council Seeking Action by the General Assembly and Governor to Prohibit all Predatory, Usurious Lending Practices in the Commonwealth of Virginia"

-  Review and consideration of approval of draft resolution that would lend support with other Virginia localities to prohibit all predatory, usurious lending practices in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

C.  Draft "Town of Rocky Mount Supplemental Appropriation Resolution for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2011" (Byrne Justice Grant)

-  Review and consideration of approval of draft resolution for Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services award to Town of Rocky Mount's Police Department a Byrne Justice Assistance Grant with a local cash award, with grant to be used for supplies to improve public safety.

 

D.  Draft "Town of Rocky Mount Supplemental Appropriation Resolution for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2011" (School Resource Officer for Franklin County High School

-  Review and consideration of approval of draft resolution for Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services award to Town of Rocky Mount's Police Department for a School Resource Incentive Grant with a local match for School Resource Officer to be used to serve Franklin County High School with existing police personnel.

 

E.  Draft "Town of Rocky Mount Supplemental Appropriation Resolution for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2011" (School Resource Officer for Franklin County Middle School)

-  Review and consideration of approval of draft resolution for Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services award to Town of Rocky Mount's Police Department for a School Resource Incentive Grant with a local match for School Resource Officer to be used to serve Franklin County Middle School with existing police personnel.
