A. Town of Rocky Mount Fiscal Year 2011 Appropriation Resolution and Proposed Levy of Cigarette Tax
- Review and consideration of approval of draft "Town of Rocky Mount Fiscal Year 2011 Appropriation Resolution as presented by Town Manager and Finance Director.
- Review and consideration of approval of draft ordinance of the Town of Rocky Mount providing for the levy of taxes on cigarettes under the provision of the ordinance and § 58.1-3830, et seq., of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended).
B. Request of Rising Opportunities
- Review and consideration of approving $7,000 in the Town of Rocky Mount's current fiscal year that was originally allocated to Goodwill Industries of the Valleys be released to Rising Opportunities.

- Review and consideration of approving the Town of Rocky Mount to accept a loan on behalf of Ronile to repaid by Ronile through a lease agreement.
B. Request of Ray A. Agee, Board Member of Southwest Virginia Antique Farm Days
- Review and consideration of approving request of Ray A. Agee, Board Member of Southwest Virginia Antique Farm Days, to be allowed to kick-off their old antique tractors parade around the Town of Rocky Mount on June 17, 2010.
- Review and consideration of approving a draft "Resolution of the Town of Rocky Mount, Virginia Approving the Assignment of the Cable Television Franchise".
D. Amendment to VA Code § 1.1-144 Regarding Virginia Retirement System Contributions
- Review and consideration of approving draft "Resolution by the Rocky Mount Town Council for Authorization to Pick-up Employee's Contribution to VRS Under § 414(h) of the Internal Revenue Code for Plan 2 Employees".
E. Advertising for Part Time Employees for Summer Work for Town of Rocky Mount Public Works Department
- Review and consideration of approving Town Manager's request for Council's authorization to add two part time employees for summer work for the Town of Rocky Mount's Public Works Department.
F. USDA Grant
- Town of Rocky applying for USDA funds to offset the costs of purchasing two police vehicles, with no action required at this time.
G. Request of Botetourt County Administrator
- Review and consideration of approving the request of Botetourt County Administrator for the Town of Rocky Mount to lobby the Virginia Department of Transportation to extend their payback period for economic development grants.
