CUSTODIAL SERVICES

The Town of Rocky Mount seeks proposals from qualified, licensed and bonded contractors to provide cleaning and janitorial services at Town facilities. The initial term is for the remainder of 2010, renewable in one year increments up to a total term of three years.

Services to be provided include scheduled routine cleaning and janitorial services at the Town's Municipal Building (three times per week), Police Department (three times per week), and the Community & Hospitality Center (twice per week). Additional periodic services expected include floor buffing, window and door glass cleaning, light bulb replacement, restocking supplies, carpet cleaning and similar custodial services as necessary. Bid alternates for other locations will be included.

A mandatory pre-bid review of facilities will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at 3 p.m., beginning at the Municipal Building at 345 Donald Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. All bidders who wish to submit bids on the facilities must attend this pre-bid review.
