TOWN OF ROCKY MOUNT REQUESTS PROPOSALS FOR AUDITING SERVICES

The Town of Rocky Mount, Virginia invites qualified independent certified public accountants to submit proposals to provide audit services for the Town for a period of 3 years. Firms will be expected to provide auditing services, including preparation of the comprehensive annual financial report and the annual comparative cost transmittal report for the periods ending June 30, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Proposals will be evaluated in terms of experience, qualifications, and the ability to meet deadlines. Competitive negotiations will be held with the highest ranked firm and a contract will be executed upon successful negotiations.
