OPEN AIR BURNING BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Effective immediately, August 26, 2008, there is a ban on all open air burning within the Town of Rocky Mount corporate limits due to the lack of sufficient rain in the recent weeks and the predicted weather forecast of little or no rain in the near future.  The Town of Rocky Mount appreciates your cooperation.
