Weekly Heightened Traffic Enforcement Report
As a public service, the Town of Rocky Mount Police Department issues a weekly heightened traffic enforcement report. This report is designed to make citizens aware of areas in town with heightened traffic enforcement for the week. The purpose of heightened enforcement is to help reduce safety concerns on Town roads.
Motorists can expect heightened traffic enforcement in the following areas:
Week of Saturday, February 21, 2009 - Friday, February 27, 2009
SATURDAY 2/21 - North Main Street and Pell Avenue
SUNDAY 2/22 - 40 East and Tanyard Road
MONDAY 2/23 - Greenview Drive and Hatcher Street
TUESDAY 2/24 - State Street and South Main Street
WEDNESDAY 2/25 - Orchard Ave. and Diamond Ave.
THURSDAY 2/26 - State Route 122 and Grassy Hill Road
FRIDAY 2/27 - Franklin Street and Bernard Road
