Town of Rocky Mount Holiday Closings and Garbage Collection
The Town of Rocky Mount offices will close on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 12 noon and will remain closed through Friday, December 26, 2008 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. The Public Works Department will pick up Thursday's garbage on Wednesday, December 24.
In addition, the Town of Rocky Mount offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, January 1 and 2, 2009 in observance of the New Year's holiday. The Public Works Department will pick up Thursday's garbage on Wednesday, December 31.

Rocky Mount Police Department Holds Annual Food Drive
The Rocky Mount Police Department is now accepting canned and non-perishable food items for its Needy Family Food Drive for Christmas!
Deadline for drop off is December 19, 2008.
