Rocky Mount Assistant Town Manager/Community Development Director Position Filled
The Town of Rocky Mount has named a veteran communicator and government administrator as its Assistant Town Manager.
Matthew C. "Matt" Hankins will assume his new duties, which also include community and economic development on October 18th.

Town of Rocky Mount Promotes Erik Mollin to Chief of Police
The Town of Rocky Mount has promoted Erik Mollin, a ten-year veteran of the police department, to head the Town's Police Department. Mollin replaces Mr. Richard "Butch" Jenkins, who retired effective October 22, 2006. Mollin has been serving as the Acting Chief of Police for ten months and will assume his duties on September 4th.
