'5 on Us' is a local stimulus program launched by the Town of Rocky Mount and in conjunction with the Community Partnership for Revitalization and local merchants. The purpose of this program is to encourage local spending and the support of local businesses.
In early December 2009, $5.00 certificates were sent to Town residents. The certificates can be used at any participating business toward a purchase of $20.00 or more (excluding gas, groceries, and prescription drugs). Participating businesses redeem the coupons for reimbursement from the Town.
Although some certificates were mailed, additional certificates are available at the following locations:
The certificates expire on May 31, 2010. You may use only one certificate per visit; however, you may use additional certificates for additional visits. Certificates are available for use by non-residents.
