Tuesday
J & J Hall (Route 116, one mile north of Route 122 at Burnt Chimney.) The Blue Spuce Band performs from 7-8:30 p.m. Band featuring "sit-in" musicians from 9-10 p.m. ADMISSION $5.00, include meal.
Wednesday
Bernard's Carpet & Tile (now STEP, Inc. - (Route 40 W in Rocky Mount.) Jam sesions from 6-8 p.m., in warehouse. NO ADMISSION CHARGE. No food or drink available.
T's Market (3901 Edwardsville Road, Hardy, VA, off of Route 122. Turn onto Harmony School Road, go five miles to Edwardsville Road, to four-way intersection.) Live music from 6-9 p.m. NO ADMISSION. Food and drink available. Bring chairs
Thursday
Dairy Queen (Route 40 West in Rocky Mount, VA.) September thru May. DQ Band performs from 9-10 a.m. Other musicians welcome to participate. NO ADMISSION.
Friday

Christian Heritage Academy is the site of the Heritage Hall Jamboree the first Friday of each month from 7-9 p.m. in the school's auditorium. DONATIONS ACCEPTED. Food and drinks are available.
Rocky Mount Community & Hospitality Center (old train depot - (Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, VA.) "Footlights of the Blue Ridge is held the second and fourth Friday from 6 -9 p.m. Admission charge is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 10 years.
Crossroads Ruritan Club (off Route 40 West, about five miles west of Ferrum, VA on Dry Hill Road) 7-9 p.m., 2nd Friday of the month. NO ADMISSION CHARGE. Food and drinks are available.
Edible Vibe (downtown Rocky Mount, VA- 315 Franklin Street.) Music from 7-9 p.m. Different featured band weekly.
Saturday
Redwood Ruritan Building (Route 40 West at Redwood, VA.) Live country music and dancing every Saturday night.
Shively's Old Store (2 miles west of Ferrum, VA at Crossroads on Route 40 West.) Informal jam sessions are held Saturdays, and when possible on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The building, constructed in about 1920, was converted to a store in 1930. It remains as it was built. The store is open from early spring through late fall. NO ADMISSION. DONATIONS ACCEPTED. Food and drinks available.
Sunday
Pigg River Community Center (Route 220 South in Rocky Mount, VA.) Features the Rev. Rolando Twine and the Pigg River Baptist Association Singers at the 11:00 a.m. service, on 5th Sunday's during the year.
