The Rocky Mount Municipal Building has been designated as a Passport Acceptance Facility by the United States Department of State.

We are very pleased to offer this service to our community!

Appointments are encouraged by calling (540) 483-7660 or (540) 483-0907.

Time permitting, walk-in passport applications are accepted.

Hours of operation are:

9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Monday - Friday

For your convenience, we offer passport photograph services on-site. 

The cost for two passport photos (one person) is $10.00.

Please note: We CANNOT accept DEBIT or CREDIT CARDS for payment for passport applications.  Acceptable forms of payment include: personal check, business check, bank check, or money order made payable to the

U.S. Department of State.

There are also separate fees which must be paid to the Town of Rocky Mount.  Acceptable forms of payment for these fees include: cash or check/money order made payable to the Town of Rocky Mount.
