‘Round the Mountain:  Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote sustainable economic development of the region’s communities by assisting local artisans with marketing, educational, and entrepreneurial opportunities. 

The plan is to build a network of trails connecting Virginia artisans' studios, shops, museums, unique restaurants, bed & breakfasts, and other ventures featuring locally made crafts, food and other products of the earth, and servicing the Southwest Virginia counties of Bland, Buchanan, Carroll, Dickenson, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Lee Montgomery, Patrick, Pulaski, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise, Wythe, and the cities of Bristol, Galax, Norton and Radford.
