Passport Services

The Rocky Mount Municipal Building is designated as a Passport Acceptance Facility by the U.S. Department of State.

We are very pleased to offer this service to our community!

Passport appointments are required. You can make one by calling 540-483-7660.

Hours of Operation
Monday  2:00PM to  4:00PM (Last appointment at 3:30PM)

Tuesday 2:00PM - 4:00PM (Last appointment at 3:30PM)

Wednesday 9:00AM to 12:00PM (Last appointment at 11:30AM)

Passport Application Execution fee is $35.00 and must must be paid to the Town of Rocky Mount. Acceptable forms of payment for these fees include cash, check/money, Credit Card or Debit Card with an additional 3.95% processing fee. Checks or Money Orders made payable to the Town of Rocky Mount.

For your convenience, we offer passport photograph services on-site for $20.00 per applicant.

Please note: The State Department does not accept debit or credit cards as payment for passport applications.

Acceptable forms of payment include personal check, business check, bank check, or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State.
